What Access Control does
HP Access Control holds the job until the person is at the device.
- Badge pull-print. The job waits in a personal queue. It does not sit in the output tray.
- Authentication at the device. Badge, PIN, or the office’s existing network sign-in for copy, scan, and print.
- HP fleet. We set it on the HP Enterprise and Managed devices we already sell and service.
We sell it, we install it, and we keep it running.
Security Manager on the same HP fleet
Access Control is who can release a job. HP Security Manager is the policy on the machine (settings, certificates, firmware checks, a compliance report). We sell both, we set both up, and we service both on HP fleets.
